Dear members and friends of ECG-COMON

Over the past few years, the European Cooperative Group on Corrosion Monitoring of Nuclear Materials (ECG-COMON) has encountered some challenges. Notably, the attendance at our annual meetings has significantly declined since around 2019. While the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic cannot be overlooked, it appears that this declining trend persists even beyond these exceptional circumstances. It is possible that some members find the group’s objectives or focus to be less relevant.

Recognizing the value of the group’s structure, the importance of our established annual meetings, and the knowledge we have accumulated on corrosion monitoring, we are determined to revitalize the group’s objectives. To achieve this, we believe it is crucial to gather your proposals and opinions.

To facilitate this process, we have prepared a short questionnaire for you. Your input is invaluable in shaping the future direction of ECG-COMON. We kindly request that you take a few moments to complete the questionnaire and share your thoughts with us.
